Welcome to my website!
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Policy Lab of RWI- Institute for Economic Research (Essen, Germany) where I lead the INSEEDS project funded by a 2025 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship. My research focuses on seed systems and input subsidy programs in Sub-Saharan Africa, with the aim of generating policy-relevant evidence on agricultural productivity, inclusion, and sustainability.
I completed my PhD in economics in December 2024 at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL.
My research lies at the intersection of development and agricultural economics. I study farmers’ behaviors and decision-making processes, with a particular interest in how public policies, institutional structures, and social preferences shape agricultural outcomes. I am also interested in the role of external shocks and contextual factors in influencing the livelihoods of rural households.
Methodologically, my work is grounded in rigorous empirical approaches, combining randomized controlled trials (RCTs), quasi-experimental methods, and field-based data collection.
I have experience in designing and implementing field experiments, including a lab-in-the-field study with farmers in Senegal on food security and decision-making, reflecting my strong interest in combining academic research with real-world policy applications.
